NGD - It's been far too long since anyone has posted a new NF-53 in White Doghair!

Been wanting one of these since they were announced, the color I was jonesing for was like hens teeth.

It's a really nice bit of wood.

The folks over as @IshGuitars had this glorious example and hooked me up with it.

They have another which has *slightly* better grain, but this one is under 6 lbs, and feels great because of it!

I had never really liked Telecasters, they just never did it for me, but the peer pressure was getting to me as everyone else seemed enamored with them

Almost got a Riggio because I heard that Paul had said good things about them. This was a while before the NF-52 was announced.

I might still have not gotten one, but the finish on this thing, just, wow. there's something about it that does it for me.

I also really love the way they seem to have taken care to make the grain look like a single peice from the front.

Here you can see that it looks like they also tried to make the grain line up where the peices join.

Love the people at Ish, by the way. They worked with me a couple of montha back on a PS order coming in 2025 and have been amazing the whole way through.

I have an nf-53 black dog and thes whites have me wanting to complete the set, badly. I keep looking at other forums hoping one pops up used so I can snag it at a discount but it doesn't appear as if people are willing to part with theirs anytime soon. I know I won't!

Sick. I looked at these a couple of times. But I had gotten a custom built red cedar tele from a man named Tim Weber who is local around here. It was almost what I would have specked out had I asked him to build it. Played it for a while and realized that the "vintage" carve on the neck just wasn't my favorite. So, I talked to him about it and he told me to bring it back and he would replace the neck. I had him put a roasted maple neck on it that felt more like a prs Wide Fat carve (not exactly, but much closer than the other neck). Now it is basically as if I had had him build it from scratch for me. Even though it was already built when I purchased it.

That is a nice pickup by the way.
