I'd been eyeballing these things for years, but I finally got serious after jamming with a group that did lots of 7-string stuff. Since I have enough trouble coping with six strings, I thought a baritone might be a better way to go low.
Cue Dave's Guitars and their awesome deals on "used" SE's. Seriously, these were getting marked up well above MSRP plus outrageous shipping costs on Reverb when Dave's serendipitously popped up with a few. I couldn't pull the trigger fast enough.

how do you like it?

It's definitely a "niche" instrument. It sounds and plays great, although I will probably try changing from the stock 14-68 gauge strings to 13-62. It's another cool color for my big box of crayons. I've only played it for about an hour, so a bit early to judge, but cool riffs seem to just fall out of it.

Very nice guitar and collection! Congratulations!

Yep, I loved my baritone! It kinda brought out different playing ideas for me. My only qualm about baritones is that the frets are wider making me not able to play solos comfortably. I tried multi-scale guitars with baritone scales on the lower and regular scales on the higher making it more comfortable. I wonder if PRS will jump into the multi-scale format in the future?

There’s a few PS multi-scales floating around out in the wild.
