Interesting the 408 has a more black burst around the edge. I like both of them. I can’t remember which way I’ve seen them before. Or maybe the 408 is a Boyd smoke burst?

Such a great CE. I’ve come to appreciate 85/15 pickups. I feel they are very responsive to volume and tone pots when compared to other pickups, including the 58/15 LTs. The bridge is wonderful clean with the tone rolled way off. Even split!

I'm a fan of the 85/15s. I have a set in my CU24 30th PS. They really compliment the all-important midrange tone of a 24 fret guitar, and push the amp in just the right way, whether clean or dirty.
And yes, responsive to the guitar's controls, which is icing on an already great cake.
