Speaking on behalf of having the non-piezo version of this guitar, I think you may be very happy with it and then some.

You got a good color, piezo, pretty snazzy bird inlays, and flamed maple binding.

Congrats! Speaking as someone who's owned one for almost a year, it's still my favorite guitar. Keep in mind that the piezo pickup sounds MUCH better through an acoustic amp (or amp sim). Also, the piezo is pretty hot coming out of a normal amp, as well. If you don't plan on playing through an acoustic amp, you can lower the master piezo volume by pulling out the battery compartment and using a screwdriver to lower the volume on the circuit board (it's labeled). Of course, you can always just lower the volume the knob, as well

So she’s arrived after a full Plek and set up and she is beautiful!

The Plek is so good that it feels like my 35 year old first guitar.

The down (and up) side is that Mrs has announced that she will buy her for my Birthday, so has been put back in the box, not to be seen until October!

Ah well, let the GAS build for the next one!

Nice! The SE HBs are just great guitars. I adore mine (non-piezo HB II), and while my Vela is magical and my core CU 22 is spectacular, the SE HB II absolutely holds its own and sees plenty of play time.
