NGD. HBTM. PS COCO #1

Vaughn, I can see how you might think that from the look, but PRS wasn’t even doing it back then.
Yeah, I went back and read the post after looking at the pics, not realizing it was a 2011 when I posted. Stain is pretty similar to the baked look!

Love me some cocobolo! The only cocobolo wood I own is my Schon cue.

The cue on the bottom.

My friend, you have one amazing collection of incredible works of art/guitars! I believe that between yourself, and the rest of “the usual suspects”, (you all know who you are...lol) you could put together the ultimate coffee table book that could, almost rival that of the original “mad scientist” himself! I have seen, and owned a few incredible examples myself, but nothing to rival what you fine gentlemen of impeccable taste post up routinely.
You inspire us all, so please continue to show your fine examples, as they deserve to be shared with we fellow aficionados. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

one day......... there has GOT to be another Coco.........
The search will always continue!!

Happy belated birthday cocolicious guitar day!

More importantly it’s the right scale length, pickups and weight! :)

My Bahama Mama Mk II was Obeche, didn’t have the sonic ‘grunt’ of mahogany but it did sound beautiful in its own way, especially with a maple neck.
