It arrived two days ago, but I was too busy playing to put her up here...sorry.
The story: i ordered a midnight rose/maple back on day 1 when they were available.
while waiting, my friend picked up a SS Horizon, and I went to play it on his rig. Honestly, it sounded like crap.
I was disillusioned, so I went home and promptly terminated the pre-order.
I then bought a 2019 Les Paul Standard. Loved it, but got an offer for a trade for a Suhr Standard Pro.
The Suhr is a top level guitar...amazing on all facets.
But then the midnight rose SS started shipping.
I went back to my friend and borrowed his SS again, but played it at MY house. I think his house has a grounding issue, because even my Suhr sounded horrible on his system.
Anyway, on my bassbreaker, the SS ROCKS!
I got ticked off, but then got a great deal on my Suhr and grabbed a Midngiht Rose in rosewood...and I'M LOVING IT!
