I bought this on Reverb from a seller who called it a "Custom 24 10 top" in the title and erroneously described it as a "49th anniversary" model, which made it a bit difficult to research what it actually was before I bought it, but here it is: a 2010 PRS Custom 24 GC 46th Anniversary!
I talked about it a bit in a thread I made asking about bird inlays, but here's the brief rundown of the unique features again:
- Artist Grade flame maple top with the Artist finish "Solana Burst"
- Nitro finish
- Wood Library selections: African mahogany back, fiddleback mahogany neck, dalbergia lanceolaria rosewood fretboard
- MOP original birds
- What appears to be brass or gold side dots maybe?
- Hybrid hardware
- Covered 59/09s
- McCarty switching
I also got a case with all the candy and paperwork, including a certificate issued for the guitar explaining the nitro finish and how it will sink into the wood over time, and another explaining some of the features and wood selections. Sorry about the photo quality - I try not to shoot on sunny days due to glare and reflections, but I was impatient and wanted to share.
And for the grand finale, I threw it in the sunlight to show off the neck, because it's incredible.
