Finally the Thai dealer just right in front of my place have the Custom 24 30th Anniversary in stock! Well, only 3 of them in Faded Whale Blue, Red and Jade, none of those are the color of my choice. All non 10 so I was not expecting anything really special. Just went to check it out to test the sound of the new 85/15 pickup that everyone seems to love.

But when I opened the case, well, you know what happened...

I was wondering why this one is non-10 too. May be because the flame are a little less contrast at the small patch just right of the 5-way blade.

The contrast was not touched in PS BTW. This top is actually very stunning in person!

Never imagine myself to buy a bright green guitar. Never know that they are so beautiful!

I now understand the love! Very articulate sounding pickup. Go from almost Strat shimmering to a full blown thick sound with great definition. Definitely no mud could be found, just tons of great tone!
