Just some guy...
So, a while back I stupidly sold the '99 McCarty I'd had from '99-'15 in a fit of G.A.S.. After being heartbroken for a while and realizing I was an idiot, I started hunting for another PRS. A few days ago, I found this one. I could've had another '99 McCarty, but even while owning my last one I'd wanted a second PRS with a trem. I also wanted to give the modern pickups and switching a shot. So I ordered it. A flawless (somehow) 2012 Cu24 10 top in Faded Blue Burst, with a Patrern Regular neck and 59/09's.
I dig the shape of the neck. Wasn't sure how I'd feel after living with a Wide Fat for so long, but this one's just fine. Not too small. I kinda expected the edges to be a bit more rolled based on what I'd read, but it still feels good.
The pickups are really nice, too. Clearer and snappier than the McCarty's, which I'm enjoying. I also like that there's not as much volume lost, when they're tapped. I'm curious to hear some 85/15's too, but that can wait until my next PRS. which will be soon. Haha.
Here are some pics. I'm digging the look, even though I normally don't gravitate to blue guitars... Blue PRS though... They seem to always grab me. Haha

My crappy shots:

Paul gave my this control cavity cover back in '06 or so, when I went to the factory/hung out in his studio... Figured I'd pull it out and put it to use.
