So, Ive been GASing for a PRS singlecut for a while now to go along with my Custom 22. I found this one online last week and it arrived today. Its a 2010 Tremonti 10 top quilt in Charcoal Burst. I had never played a USA Tremonti before today and now I understand why guys love these guitars so much. Holy crap this thing rocks! Im also digging the stock pups as well, but I may end up taking the cover off of the neck pickup. Ive never been much of a trem player, but Im looking forward to learning and getting more comfortable with the trem.
Something else that's interesting to me. My Custom 22 has the wide thin neck carve which supposedly is the same as the Tremonti. However, the Tremonti neck profile seems a bit thinner to me. Not in a bad way or anything, just interesting that the two necks feel slightly different even though they have the same profile.
Below are a couple of pics from the unboxing as well as some of the stock pics from Dave's Guitar shop.
