Been playing the new SE Paul's to death the last week and absolutely love it. Picked up my S2 Singlecut Satin today because it was staring at me like, really man? When I did I was wondering, what happened to the volume? Not wanting to mess with the Paul's pickup height, because I love the sound, I decided to make some adjustments to the Singlecut to see if I could get the outputs on a level playing field. Happy to say I was able to get them close on the output while still maintaining the characteristics of the #7 pickups. It's almost like a NGD as the tones are definitely more present and resonant. Can't wait to create some new material with it.
