While at "The Experience" this Fall, I was contemplating a Brazzy Neck PS Guitar. I was really struggling with exactly what to do, so I enlisted the services of my friend JustSteve. Now JustSteve comes from a long line of PRS gurus in the Just Family. His Cousin is a member of this Forum & purchased a new CU24 (I think) at "The Exp". She goes by the handle of JustCousin IIRC. You also are likely to be familiar with JustSteve's Dad (long time pillar of the Forum) JustRob. Anyway, JustSteve was kind enough to help me put together my PS build. As I suspected, This Cat was a complete natural. A real Wizz Kid. Paul Miles was comparing him to PhennyVonPhennRock. It was pretty special to watch JustSteve literally take over the Wood Library. JFB's (Jessefugginbaker) jaw was on the floor at least twice that I noticed. Nobody said anything at the time, but I suspected Tina was kind of in awe of JustSteve. So it all started off by JustSteve picking out a "Killer" quilted Top. Then he smooth talked Sleeby out of the best Brazzy Neck in the joint. Ha, I was digging that move! Steve found a "Killer" Brazzy Board & the Brazzy Overlay he found was just ridiculous. Next he came up with a Zebrawood/Mammoth Ivory Baby Dragon & Eagle ....................... Dude is a PS Genius, A true Visionary! He wrapped it up with Zebra Wood Binding all the way around. Oddly enough, I thought I heard QueenCity asking JustSteve if he could use a few of his ideas. Unbelievable!

Oh Yeah, I picked out the Zebra P-ups!

JustSteve................. Thank You my Friend!

That turned out amazing! Congrats! :top:

JustStephen is a natural at picking out woods for PS builds.

Wow! That's a killer build! JustRob must be so proud!

Congrats on the new guitar, Markie!

Does JustSteve have any pointers? I've got a 6-year-old who is going to want to get into the vault sooner than I'd like to admit!

Wow! Now that is a Private Stock! Understated, elegant, and Beautiful . from the wood to the subtle inlay, the pickups and the color. It is crying to be heard, and what beautiful music it can make. Just WOW!.

What color is that by the way?. The best Private Stock I think I have ever seen!!!

Markie, that is JUST PHENOMENAL!!

And I am just blown away! Excellent!

WOW! That turned out great. Congrats Mark! Steve loves it too! That Dragon looks so cool.

Steve is ready to go again. I told him it's my turn next. Just saving my pennies. Maybe someday I'll be able to take him in.

Thank you guys for all the kind comments, and thank you especially Markie for the experience, and for your kind offer to ship it out here for Steve to see. All of the shipping nightmare stories tell me it's best at home with you where you can enjoy it. Maybe someday we can visit it.

Very nice Markie, excellent build. That was a fun experience being there with you guys.

Outstanding work, JustSteve! That fretboard is awesome.

I do have to disagree with Markie on just one thing - well, not so much disagree as register confusion.

I didn't thing JustRob was tall enough to be a pillar of anything! :vroam:

JustSteve might have to help me with my next build. He's a right and proper hound for sniffing out the sick tops!!! Great job you two.

Awesome! I walked in quietly toward the end of JustSteve at work...great fun to watch! The entire package is perfect but that fretboard completely knocks me out!
Yep. That was something cool to watch.

I'm going to have to spend some time with that beauty soon...Snarf-style. :flute:
