NGD Blueberry 1957/2008

Quick question, how can I confirm if this guitar is finished in Nitro or V12? It was made in December 2008 and was advertised as being Nitro but I am not sure how I can confirm this. Is there anyway I can tell by look/feel? Just want to know so I can be careful with cleaners/polishes etc.. if required.

And because we all love pics....a couple more :

I don't believe they started using the V12 until later....maybe 2010 or 2011.

Neither nitro or V12. Incredible guitar, none the less!!

So it is possible to confirm it is not a Nitro finish?

The below links seem to make me think it could well be Nitro?

Yet this one seems to imply the 1957/2008's were finished in a typical acrylic?

Confused!?

EDIT : read the original link properly and it seems that they are indeed the regular acrylic finish.

Good to know!

WOW! LOVE the color and LOVE that it's a WT neck.
Can it be the one that got away for me too? If here ever comes a time you want to part with it...not that you ever would...I guess I mean...should the unfortunate circumstance arise that forces you to sell it, PLEASE keep me in mind?
DROOOOOL :-O

IIRC, it was listed as a "New" or "Special" Hard Finish. I think it was the precursor to the V-12 finish…

Here's a pic of the hangtag that was on the display guitars at Experience PRS 2008. It was called a "Crystal" Hard Finish…

But that tag, was never included on the production guitars…
