I will preface by saying that I am still a PRS guy, and my CU24 and Mira will always be on stage with me! But a couple months ago I got an opportunity to trade my SE CU24 for this guitar. Since high school (a long time ago) I have wanted a RED strat, so this fit the bill when it came up on marketplace. It was a straight across trade, my SE (which didn't see much stage time), for this 2018 Player Series Strat in Sonic Red which has been to every gig since I picked it up in December. I am loving the feel of it, so well put together it surprised me that its not an American. The pickups are clear and bright and I am loving the different tonal options I get in conjunction with my PRSi. Plus that colour looks amazing on stage! Overall I am very pleased with this acquisition!

So here she is, my first non PRS purchase in a LOOONG time!

No preface necessary; I get it...
I own quite a few Warmoth strat-builds.

My first guitar was, a cherry red J. Steele strat-copy, which I traded towards a Kramer Focus 6000. If anyone knows the history of J.Steele, please post...

40 years later, I still have yet to 'replace' that guitar.

I say if you want strat tone, just hit the easy button...

Anyway...those are my thoughts when I see a red strat.

“ Variety is the spice of life”. PRS is the only one’s making a good guitar. congrats.
