I just couldn’t resist getting a ‘burst, so here it is. Like @fatherbowie, I think amber knobs look better on this finish… still thinking about changing the switch tip to cream.

Sound advice, as always! ThanksNice triple play, and the answers are yes and yes to the knobs and switch tip.
You take great pics of "My Guitar" ... I wouldn't change a thing (including the pickups )
I am still lusting after a flamey /stripey maple top version (not as thick as its chubber sisters) just to add "flair" , to an already cool guitar ...
The neck profile and much thicker girth of the SC/DC , along with the fact that the maple tops on S2's can be rather bland are a bummer though. Hey. they are great guitars, if you can live with the neck profile (and new higher price)
It seems to depend on who is spraying any given batch. While this one is beautiful, I had hoped it would be like the example shown on the listing (clearly marked as not the actual guitar available) did have mahogany edges, sides, neck and headstock, and was absolutely gorgeous! It’s mahogany. I really wish they’d do a much lighter sunburst….
