NGD...and new to PRS!

Today I opened my SE Standard in Tobacco Burst from Sweetwater. Love it! Have a set of PRS locking tuners and a Tusq nut to go on the guitar. I’ll post pics when the forums allow me to post links!

I can’t remember the last time I played a PRS and there were none to play at my local guitar store, so I bought it on a hunch that I’d like it. I loved the tones I heard from this guitar on YouTube, so I went for it.

My other guitars are a Jackson Soloist, a Kramer Ferrington and a beat up Yamaha tele.

Welcome to the addiction! Once you've had a taste and see how good even the SE models are, your overwhelming desire will be to climb the ladder up to the core models.

I hope you can sell your others for enough to afford one ... or two!

I got my first PRS a few months ago, a CE 24, and I love it. I now spend an inordinate amount of time trying to decide which PRS to buy next. Welcome to the brand.

Ah... the SE Standard. That was the gateway drug that introduced me to the intoxicants produced by PRS. (I bought my first S2 less than a year later, so addiction *can* happen)

I have all the great pics that Sweetwater sent me to post when I can. Yesterday I had my guitar guy do a full set up, add the locking tuners and Tusq XL nut and add a home grown treble bleed to replace the small one that came standard. It plays and sounds just great now! I can also use the trem arm as much as I want without it going out of tune.
