My name is Stefan and i am a hobby musician from munich.
2 Months ago i bought my first PRS SE Mikael Akerfeldt which has an awesome sound and was my first PRS. It's always a wonderful moment to play on her.
This week i am in cologne for doing some stuff for a customer and on my free day i've visited a music store which is one of the biggest in germany. Never i had imagined to buy anything there. I just want to look around and get some inspiration for next things i could use in my little studio. But then i saw a rig of PRS guitars. Unfortunately "only" SE and S2's (already tested them very intensive in munich) but it was always a dream for me to test a Custom 22.
I went to a salesman and asked where the expensive guitars are stored. He smiled and said i should follow him. We've walked to a small room where only premium guitars hanged around. My eyes has spotted the PRS rig instantly. I was like: "Wow! Holy?!".
When i asked him for his favorite guitar from PRS he gave me a 408. She was ok but i had no good feeling that this "could" be my guitar. I said: "Hey, its ok and sounds pretty good but i cant feel anything between her and me.". 1 Minute later he had this SC245 for me. Again, nothing between the guitar and me. It was not the tone. I have to admit that no PRS i've tested there had bad tones. It's just "the thing" which i've missed
After 10 minutes alone with the SC245 he gave me a Custom 22 10 Top. Booom!
He has infected me with the PRS virus. I had no chance. I was like: "Sh*t up and take my money!" but i cant just give away so much money without sleeping some days about it. The last 2 days were like hell on earth for me. Every free minute i had was filled by thoughts and dreams about this guitar. It was clear to me. This is "The guitar".
Today i went back to the store and bought the guitar. I had a last nice talk to the salesman who were really competent and helped me a lot. The whole morning he prepared the guitar with new strings, polishing and tuning it to perfection. He was kind a sad to give the guitar away
I have to say this feels like the best investment i've ever done for my little music project.

PRS is awesome and i glad to own my first custom 22 now! Thank doing such perfect instruments!
