NGD - 594 Semi Hollow

Congrats on a gorgeous guitar! Gotta check out Danville Music sometime when I'm in the East Bay.

Looks like you know McC 594's pretty well, how does it compare with others?
I have had two traditional double cuts with mahogany bodies, necks and maple tops which were great. I also have had a SC with the same wood combo. All great guitars that sound fantastic. Very much in the Les Paul camp with that PRS twist.

This one definitely has more mid-range focus much of which I think is due to the rosewood neck. I also think the semi-hollow construction adds a little bloom to the tone. Very nice for single note lead playing. Great sounding guitar that compliments my more traditional wood guitars nicely.

Btw, I am in San Francisco. For me, getting out to Danville is not bad. Getting back into the city is the PIA! 🤣😂

What a beautiful guitar! I feel your pain regarding Bay Area traffic. I live 15 miles from Danville. 15-20 minutes on a Saturday, an hour during the week 🙄
