Yes indeed! I played a 513 for the first time recently and it was unreal the diversity of tone it offered. Now I can add that to my list of PRS wants.
I lusted after the cu24 for 20+ years before my bride bought me my holy grail, my first PRS. And to those who've noticed my ever expanding and contracting signature due to buying and selling/trading, I still own that first PRS in its original configuration. I have owned and loved a bunch of "traditional " PRS offerings, cu22, cu24, HBII, etc, it's the newer gear that've been released in the last 10 or so years that amaze me. The PRS braintrust that has brought us the amps, 305, 408, 513, the SE, S2, the pickups! OMG the pups have just been sick! Most of the other guitar brands may have 2-3 models that interest me, if any at all. PRS is the only one that has more models than I could possibly be able own all at once. my only regret is not having the opportunity 20 years ago to buy a SE or S2, nor the funds to afford a core model.
PRS use to be the Corvette of guitars, it had an older more affluent customer base. Now it still sells Corvettes, but also has Camaros, trucks, SUVs and a shop on site to add rims, super chargers and sound systems. It's safe to say the customer base has broadened over three decades.
