Thanks, and yes, Tasmanian Sassafras was a limited edition model Taylor did a while back for the T5z model and I just really liked the look of it.

Ah cool. For such a tiny island, we've sure got some great wood! There's been a few Private Stocks that have used Tas Blackwood (kinda similar to Koa)

I had a Tele custom made for me last year, Tas Blackwood body, Tas Oak (Mountain Ash) cap and neck. Can't upload pics at the moment but will do when I'm back on land

Updated the OP with a description of a small modification I did on my 509 (make the tone only work on the bridge pickup).

Sweet collection. I had a 513, and will someday have a 509. And if we’re claiming other people’s guitars, I’ll gladly take the SC 594 off your hands. I’m sure it’s not getting much playing time now that you have the 509.
