So after buying my first PRS last year, a Custom 22, I'm hooked. It's all I play. Many of the other guitars in my collection have remained in their cases. I ordered a 35th SE CU24 in January and received that in March. Lovely instrument for the price. Quality is superb. I do find I like the 22 frets better though. Just seems to sit better with me. so over the past 12 months I've bene looking at other PRS models. Very interested in the 594, the McCarty and the Paul's Guitar.

The Paul's guitar is hard to find here in Canada. Lead time on ordering one is currently at 12-14 months. A dealer around 1 hour from me had a really nice McCarty. I was very interested and during our correspondence I mentioned I really like the PG but there are none to be found. I stated he had one coming in on the next shipment (for reference here, Long and McQuade is the largest dealer in Canada, they have one in stock across the chain, not in a colour I like). It arrived Friday, so yesterday I drove up there and played it. Amazing. That's all I can say. (I did try the McCarty and honestly it was a hard decision - I may yet sell a couple of the collection and go back for it). Not a 10 top, but it is beautiful. Finish is Copper.

The single coil sound is amazing. Best split I have ever heard.

Nice one for sure!!!

I very much want a 594, but a Paul's Guitar is on "the list" of things I want to audition when the time comes.

That, my friend, is a stunning instrument. I don’t think a ten top makes a guitar more musical, and sometimes I think the decision is a little arbitrary. Yours is as beautiful as they come.

Congrats! Probably my favourite PRS model!

Wow! That’s a great top.

Congrats and enjoy it! As also a quite new Paul’s Guitar owner myself I can say you can’t go wrong with this model, it’s truly special

Thanks guys. Really enjoying it. Different feel to the Custom 22 that's for sure, although still pattern neck, feels different. Slightly ticker body, yet weighs just slightly less! Pickups very different to the 85/15's. had to tweak amp / pedal settings. Certainly a wide range of tones, very nice response. Attached a pic with her sisters.
