My first PRS and she's a beauty. I'm kinda taken back by how clear and articulate this thing is. My previous guitar was made 100% of aluminum so it's quite a contrast in tone. Now, I need an amp to pair with it. Any suggestions? I play melodic post-rock.

PS Forum mods please add some better photo upload/resizing tools.

BEAUTIMUS MAXIMUS!!!!

Grats Man on a killer PRS...Love the faded blue jean finish!

That looks lovely. I wish they were Pattern Thin, personally.

What was your Aluminium guitar?

Really cool score! Articulate (and versatile) is exactly how I'd imagine it sounds.

Great forum user name too, lol.

Haha, Thanks! Studio Tan + J Maclaughlin?? Something tells me we would be good friends.

Awesome guitar!

HXDA or Archon would make a good amp match.

Thanks for the advice. I checked those amps out. Holy crap, I want an HXDA but prolly not gonna shell out 3K for one. Im looking for an archon 25 probably. That is a little more feasible. Although, I'm not sure where I would be able to play thru PRS amp in Atlanta for a test. I don't think guitar center has these do they (not that I would ever buy it there)?

You might as well check out the Mesa Mark 25, too. Personally, I'm a big fan of smaller amps (when done right). I just got the 40 watt PRS Sweet 16+ (normally a 16 watter). Both versions are really awesome for what they are. You can find used ones for under a grand.

Nice! I can see myself getting one more PRS in the future (I have 4 now) and this guitar (Paul's Guitar) or a DGT is what I'm deciding between.
