NGD: 2001 Singlecut

Picked up a used 2001 SC that was barely used. The guy was more of a collector than a player and had over 50 guitars. It's just about mint.
It's very lightweight for a singlecut, at 8.1 lbs. Plays great except I am having the nut cut down, since it came so high from the factory. The frets are in great shape and almost like new condition. Most guitars, I end up getting a nice fret dressing, but this one is fine.
The notes have a really nice pop when played acoustically.

On the fretboard color...
I think that is a shadow from the room.
The guitar is at my tech's house having the nut cut power and having a setting completed. I do my own setups but I like him to do a once over as a baseline.
