NGD #2 ~ S2 Mira #2 From Wildwood ~ Bonus Material Inside!

The replacement/exchange for the Mira that I bought from Wildwood with a few minor flaws was delivered today. No issues to report whatsoever. Setup was excellent. No fit & finish issues to note. Overall a better example than the first one, which was a very nice guitar regardless of the few minor flaws.

Since I was upgraded from Dots to Birds on the exchange, I decided to upgrade to the Hybrid Hardware Package as well, which includes: Raw Brushed Nickel Pickup Covers with Gold Pole Screws, Gold Pickguard, Switch and Jack Plate Screws, and Pearloid Tuner Buttons with Gold Screws. Here's a few pics for your viewing enjoyment.

Thanks. I actually did the work myself. Covers & screws on the OG pups. That's my idea of "bonus material."

Thank you. Those buttons are from Stew Mac. The Mini Schaller buttons. Perfect fit. All said, it cost me about $50 to do the mods. Gold truss rod cover screw on its way. :biggrin:

That's a great compliment! Thank you! I had the idea in my head before the 1st guitar arrived, so I pre-ordered all the parts. I was quite anxious to see how it turned out. I'm pretty stoked... exactly what I was hoping for.

I have to say... these two Miras have had some of the nicest necks, fretboards, and fret work that I've seen in quite some time. Neck is arrow straight when you sight down the headstock, and the edges of the frets are dead nut straight all the way down as well. Fret edges are nicely dressed. I've seen more than my fair share of Fenders & Gibson where the frets looked like an old picket fence when you sight down the neck. Just perfect.

Have to agree.. I don't hate uncovered pups but I just think covered pups look a little classier.
