I believe the takeaway from that is, A hipster, in their effort to be hip are intellectual retards. Therefore they could not identify with the Lonestar, much less its association with Texas. They can identify with Apple products, thereby a blue apple with white outlines, so the hipster thinks, "oh yeah Da Cowboys" .
