NF53 and Myles Kennedy Best Sellers

If The Other Models Cost Less I Doubt That Would Be The Case (No Pun Intended).

Then guitar sales are hurting more than I thought for it to be the #1.

I don't mean that snarky. It's definitely a luke warm reception at best. If it was #1 then they must not be selling many of the others and only the latest gear is moving to the guitar junkies.

It's interesting only one of the top selling 5 colors are for the nf53, #2 black doghair. No Myles Kennedy colors for the #2 selling guitar. And #1 finish is Moc Sand for #3 SS, and I'd think the Moc Sand isn't the most popular SS color. This IG post is suspect if you ask me.

No surprise that the top three are PRS’ least expensive core models.
None are a core guitar. The top 3 are all bolt on.

Edit-but yes all three the cheapest of the five. That doesn't surprise me either. Look how the se flew off the shelf with the sale.

I hadn’t noticed that. Seems a little fishy.

I bought my first new PRS in 6ish years and it wasn't any of those three. It is a Studio. I honestly am not the buyer for any of those models. I have wondered about a Silver Sky for quite a while but I am not a big fan of an SSS Strat. The Strat style guitars I play have HSS pickup configuration. I have a few Teles and have not been playing them lately. If I started playing in a situation where I needed a Tele, I feel I have that covered.

While we complain about PRS prices, Fender is selling relic'd Strats for 10 to 12 THOUSAND! Gentleman, pay attention to the market and inflation. While I'm not buying new, I see exactly what's going on. In my business, the wholesale cost of quality goods has gone up 30% in 18 months.

The list makes sense , I already have a version of most every PRS model and the NF53 was something I have been asking to have years and it does not disappoint,
As far as price goes a Fender Ultra Tele is 2600 , a Brett Mason is 3K , an American Vintage II 51 is $2400 , I did not pay MSRP for my NF53. I would say the MK and NF53 are pretty close to the market these days. Hell the last Tele I built cost over $700 is parts alone

I hear you. The last Tele I built, raw lumber and top quality parts was just under a grand.

I Get It...It Sure Will Be Interesting To See What The Pricing Does When Things Balance Back Out. It Shouldn't Be Too Long As The Crash Is Quickly Approaching.

The Pickup Truck PRS.
Yes, I haven’t read many reviews, because I’m not interested in this guitar. But the only “lukewarm” responses I read were all from guys who just wanted to bust on it because it “wasn’t a Tele.” The people that approached it with no preconceived notions THAT I READ, all ended up liking the guitar a lot.

Just like a LOT of guys busted on the Silver Sky for the 3x3 headstock and every other thing that wasn’t exactly like a fender. It seems to have done OK though.
