Anyone have guesses as to specs? I am thinking finally an SC of some type? I've been hoping since the first brent mason they would do another one with 408's and a trem. I'm telling PRS if its an SCT 408 I will go bankrupt to get one! :D

Base Model: DC22
Scale:
24.5"
Bridge: 2-piece PRS Stoptail with brass saddles
Hardware: Nickel
Body: Solid Mahogany (heavy Mahogany for good balance)
Top: Euro Maple
Neck: Pernambuco
Fretboard: Black, dead quarter-sawn, Brazilian Rosewood with 10 degree radius
Frets: DGT fretwire with hidden fret tangs
Headstock Design: Hand-signed by Paul Smith (in gold metallic) over a Brazilian Rosewood veneer.
Tuners: Phase 3 with ivoroid (cream) buttons to match cream pup rings
Inlay: Original birds flying toward headstock in Mammoth Ivory (Etched)
Pickups: Narrow 408's
Control Layout: Just like the Paul's Guitar with mini-toggles (not DC22 layout)
Finish: Matte nitro on neck, thin glossy nitro on body
Case: Silhouette (small), like Hollowbody case, in Paisley

ok, I'm on board with that one too, although my stoptails's are starting to add up ha ha, I 'm shooting for some balance. maybe we can get a santana 22 and call it a compromise?

I don't know... It might look kinda cheap.

These are SERIOUS ruminations fellas! please do not stay on topic!

What if it was a SC type with SC electronics (2 Vol / 2 tone) but with Push / Push tone pots for tapping the 408 pups instead of the mini toggles?

Would look like an SC245 with 408 pups but under the hood still had the Signature/Pauls/408's options, plus the versatility of 2 volumes!

Edit: Oh yea, I like the Troglosheep name better.. or maybe a Shroglo-eep?

I think an s/ c with 408 controls would be the bomb and obviously it would give you the flexability and the s/ c looks which so many of us like LISTEN UP PAUL PLEASE.

I'm the lone outlier who dreams of an SCJ with a 2 piece bridge and possibly even a spruce top, though I have no idea if that would be good sounding, it seems like it would be. Haha!

No, I am right there with you Les, but I might want a single neck pickup so that spruce top can resonate real good. Either a 53-10, PRS 7, or Archtop Bass.
