Good Day All,

First time posting. Just purchased a PRS Custom SE. I love it and I feel it's perfect for my intermediate playing. I never even heard of PRS, however it caught my eye at Guitar Center. I didn't know what to purchase. I didn't want to go over one grand. I thought just shop around, play some and let it found you. It did. Perfect guitar for me. Talking to you from Lincoln, NE. Around 20 degrees. Keep playing.

Welcome and congrats on the SE Custom from GC! The SE's are great guitars and lots of the folks here will encourage and 'enable' you to get others.

Also, most of my PRSi came used from GC and with their 45 day return policy (you only pay the $25 or so for shipping if you return it) it's a great way to choose from hundreds of guitars and actually play one for a while before deciding.

And post pictures for a NGD!

Welcome to the forum! Like you, I had not heard of PRS when I decided it was time to learn guitar about 4.5 years ago. I came across some videos of PRSh and I really liked his passion, dedication, etc. for his craft so I started looking and bought a 35th anniversary SE Custom 24 and loved it! I have since added 5 more PRSi to the family, so be prepared for expansion. 🤣 I lurked here on the forum for about 3 years before finally joining about a year and a half ago. I rarely post (this is only my 2nd one) because I don’t feel like I have a lot to offer, but I am always on here soaking up all the information shared by others. There are so many knowledgeable people here - not to mention this has to be the friendliest forum ever!

You and I aren't a whole lot different, but I do post and partake quite a bit. Covid is what really set me back on the guitar journey, it gave me the nudge I needed to get the juices flowing and really jump in with both feet. And (cough) gave me that damnable PRS affliction. Of course there are far worse addictions to have.🤣
And you are right, there's a whole whack of really smart guitar peeps on here, of which I am certainly not one of. Although the rank and file have fed me some very valuable info that I like to think I have soaked up for my own betterment. But everybody brings something to the table, and the whole gang here is supportive and more than accepting of us little people. 👏🤝
