New used Bernie day

So I scored a really clean Bernie off Craigslist today for under three bills. Pretty happy with that. Going to do the usual swap of the nut and electronics but wondered about the bridge. If I put a USA bridge, either standard stop or adjustable, do I have to swap out the posts? No pics yet but it is your standard Bernie.

I currently have a US bridge on my Bernie, but did it also with an adjustable one. No problems. Go for it.

I did the Mann2300 on mine, and swapped the studs and posts. Easy peasy. They come out of the SE's like butter.

I can’t believe how rad my Bernie is, and wonder why I waited so long to buy one.

The old posts work fine. I left them on and put the US compensating bridge on the Hans flowed me. Nice upgrade.

Not sure what pups. I am thinking hot bridge and vintage neck. Maybe a JB/59 set. I have a JB hanging around so I can test it out before I commit. My spare pup pile isnt as deep as it used to be but I have a couple of options.

Congrats on the great score, I've tried the only one available in Lebanon at the local store near my work (great specimen IMO)
but Alas, they're asking nearly triple of what you got it for, so I opted saving for a a 594 instead.
