I just ordered a mann trem for my custom 24. I can't wait! Only problem is, if I like it............well, I have 3 trem guitars.

Bulk discount anyone? ;) I have like...well...A BUNCH anyway. Twould be an expensive proposition...let us know how you like the results!

I only have one trem guitar but I already love it just the way it is, so I choose the ol' "ignorance is bliss" route.

I hear ya John. I love my cu24 the way it is too but when you hear guys talk about slight improvements I just can't stop wondering.

Despite the fact that the information is entering my brain through my eyes, I still put my fingers in my ears and yell LA LA LA LA as loudly as possible to keep me from wondering. My co-workers think I'm weird, but they've gotten used to it.

Already have a box of brand spankin' new PRS goodies for it. Pickups are coming from the UK next week. Dropping the body off tomorrow for a paint job. Now, finding a neck, that's a challenge.

I think this project deserves its own thread. There aren't enough of 'em these days.

Well, the MannMade trem used to be the stock version. I can't remember if PRS went to the 2-piece version in 1991 or 1995, but it's been awhile. I can't honestly say that I hear a difference in the tone, but I do hear a little more sustain. For my Private Stock, I asked for a MannMade trem, but with solid brass saddles and screws. It sounds and works perfectly. IMHO, it's the best trem I've ever used.

What's the improvement over the stock version?
