Recently purchased a new se silver sky. I was always a strat or Gibson guy. The se silver sky blows away my limited edition strat. Our band covers rock everything on the radio. I need different guitars to cover so many different bands. Now I see why PRS is highly regarded. I'm looking for the limited edition 24 fret se quilted top in cherry. If anyone has one hows it sound. No local shop has one so I have to order online. Lmk what you think.

Welcome To The Family.

Order Away And Report Back On Your Thoughts!

Welcome! PRS SE's (including the awesome used Korean models) are some of the best values on the planet!

Congrats on your first PRS, and the one(s) that follow! I had none two years ago, now four.

Welcome! The Silver Sky is a great place to start: the core ones and Dead Spec are awesome too IMO

Yes, this is Enablement Central :)

@snookman I've had an SE Custom 24 for 4 years now. Not a Limited, but it was my first PRS. It's a great machine for all round playing. Frets fast, sounds really great even on a modeler, but a tube amp certainly makes it better. It does have some weaknesses in the coil split as the volume roll-off is pretty abrupt and gets thin quickly. There's better pups out there than what they come with, but certainly nothing really bad about them. Good workhorse if you want to gig it without worrying about dinging or banging around an expensive guitar. I don't gig mine but I love making it scream in the basement!;)

Welcome to the addiction club snookman! This forum can be fun, but the pressure to buy more PRSi will exist regardless of the fun factor!! So many enablers here, you would think we were all employed by the company, but instead we all simply enjoy them so much that we want others to have the same fun level ;~))
