I love the look and feel of my brand new SE245 Standard

Today I just noticed the three way center position looses the neck pickup.
Ah wait now it lost the bridge
Hold on what is this?
My question may seem simple or even dumb, but I don't know what is going on.
When I have the switch in the middle position It seems that the volume pots, neck or bridge, affect both.
Is this normal?
At first I thought the neck pickup was dead in this position and freaked.
Are there wiring diagrams and/or where may there be some more information on this?
It's messing with my mind....

Yes - in the middle position, the volume controls affect the total output, so if you turn one pickup to 0, you’ll get no sound. It’s normal.

Want to talk messing with your mind? The first LP copy I had, a Hondo II, didn’t work like that. It blended both pickups, but it was more like a sum of the pickup signals, so as long as one was on, you got sound in the middle position. When I got my first real LP, it worked as you described, and I thought there was something wrong with it.

But yours sounds like it’s all good. Now, pics before it turns into a Hello Kitty!
