New (to me) 2011 Custom 24 arrived! What kind of birds are these?

My 2011 Custom 24 arrived! Love it! Thanks to everyone for the advice and to the person who posted the link for me! One question - what kind of birds are these? I was expecting the seashell-looking materials. These are more of a pewter look with white trim. Never seen these before. Pics linked below.

Ah - Dirt Birds. They'll have to grow on me, but the guitar overall is a beauty and was a great deal at $1,850.

I like the Dirt / Dirty Birds. I have them on a couple of my PRSi, IIRC.

No idea what the material is, but IIRC it is possibly just two variants of "corian" (i.e. synthetic material).

I guess around that time there were some issues with using shell materials? I wasn't following the brand very closely at the time. Looks like both the outline and the center are synthetic. If it's any consolation, the current ones still use a corian outline and only the centers are abalam.
