Shoreline , California last night. Looks to be a 529 meets Super Eagle in John ‘s hands. Perhaps a revamped Super Eagle on the stand, with three exposed humbuckers. Of course, that Dumble ODS too.

Oh I stole those pics from a Bay Area news site review of the show.Great shots! Love how the amps are laying on their backs! Like they’re playing for a higher cause!

DUDE!
They were set up in normal position for second night. He did this on Wolf Bros/ 2 tours which were in small but really acoustically sound theaters.Great shots! Love how the amps are laying on their backs! Like they’re playing for a higher cause!
My guess they are the 58/15 JM LTs like the first Super Eagle ( he’s got them in his Silver 594 that got a lot of stage time last tour, on the blues numbers).Does anyone know if the what the Super Eagle Mods are? Which pickups are in the new guitar?
And that ODS sounding SO fine with all of them.I knew I could count on this forum to have a thread on this.
Noteworthy in the Morning Dew video above, Mayer seemed to use only the neck pickup of his 594 Triple Bucker Eagle thing on that song.
At Hollywood bowl he used two guitars I could see (likely also a Silver Sky at times) - the 594-ish triple bucker thing above and a semi hollow more Super Eagle switched looking model: Skip to 6:33 for a pretty good shot of it.
