A couple weeks ago I got a Mira and was convinced that I had enough PRS guitars for a while unless I just happened to get to play a SS and loved it, even though it had rosewood board.

Two weeks later, there are two new PRS guitars I MUST have. S2 594 and while I still have to play one, I'm pretty sure an SS.

Oh, and for those of you who thought the neck was a bit sticky (you know who you are ) in the demo, Mr. Ewald said "satin neck" !!!! YEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAA!

Yeah, I have a theory on that...

IMO, Paul has always had lots of great ideas, but let's face it. It takes some jack to introduce a bunch of new models at once. And, he had some great ideas like the NF3 that never went over well. But between the 594s and the overwhelming success of the SS, it's created an influx of cash that allows him to do something that's normally very hard... expand rapidly! And that's what he's doing. And doing it in style!!!

I don't mind saying that I don't have the disposable cash to run out and buy everything I want. But this is two models in the last 2-3 weeks that for me are MUST HAVE guitars if they meet my expectations when I get to play them.

As you well know, my SS will be white with maple board. I'll gladly call mine De Blanc when asked what color I have.

Time to start selling a few guitars. LOL I still have an NIB NOS 68 replica Tokai from when I was the US reseller of those a couple years ago. I'll need to sell that and the Wolfgang... speaking of which... I wonder how far backed up the factory is, and how long it will actually be before we see S2 594 and SS maple's in the stores?

I know this Nebula finish is limited, but, man, I REALLY hope they kinda lean into this idea and produce more colors and spread them throughout the different product lines. A color effect like that on a carved-top core model would be insane.

This will be mine! De Blanc with De Blanc pick guard and pickups, and maple fingerboard. Oh, and De Blank knobs for twisting! (no pun intended, of course)
