Just got my new Silver Sky yesterday. It’s making this strange noise from inside. This is my first electric guitar so I don’t know if this is normal.

Yeah, please try it on yours and let me know if it has the sound. But I actually asked the store where I bought the guitar and they said their other silver sky makes the same sound

I don't have much experience in guitar shakes but.. As the sound always remains the same, it must be a mechanical part, check your nut jack if it is tight, if not, you will just remove the pickguard and shake it again to easily locate the noise ! ?

Maybe they were doing a tour when that guitar was built.

That is just too weird ... Like, I mean, this is a "solid body guitar ? Right ? Just yank off the pickguard, and take a look
Something has come loose, or been "included" where it should not have.

The easiest place to look first , will be the Trem cavity (biggest hole, no strings to loosen) But something is not right ...

Kinda like the days , when disaffected auto workers would put a beer can inside a door frame during assembly, to drive
the buyer crazy :) ... (and tick them off against the car make)

Sadly probably empty, otherwise score!

It sounds like a loose component. It could be something as minor as a pickup or other wire that was not trimmed sufficiently and it can move when shaken. Or, it could be something more, like a loose nut or even a loose wafer on the switch. In any event, a new guitar should not be noises like that. If the dealer is nearby, take it to their tech to have them solve the problem. If not, you will need to decide if you want to remove the plate and look for the problem yourself, send it in for repair, or just live with it. Best of luck and congratulations on the new guitar, you are going to enjoy it.
