New SE Custom 24 Bridge Issue?

I got a new SE Custom 24 in charcoal color for Christmas. I notice that the bridge isn’t level with the body perpendicular to the strings. It tilts down toward the body up by the highest strings which prevents me from pulling up on the tremolo bar at all because the bridge hits the body. Is this normal? There are some images attached.

make sure it’s seated in the mounting screws correctly it’s looks like either it’s not seated in the grooves of the mounting screws correctly or the mounting screws aren’t even. There’s a video on YT by John Mann on installing and setting up the floating trem

I’ve started working on reseating the bridge. Took all six of the screws out and they don’t all match. The screw at the low E string has these grooves in it, none of the others screws have this. Here’s a picture:
The one on top is from the A string, which is smooth, the one below is from the E string with the grooves. Is this a manufacturing defect with the screw? And should they all be smooth or grooved. Thanks in advance.

The groove that the trem sits in, is just below the screw head. These two screws have this groove.

The marks on the screw shaft (wait for the jokes) are not what @TheCraftsman was referring to. The marks may be from machining, but will be of no consequence.

This image might help explain my point -

You can see how the knife blade on the trem sits in the grooves on the trem screws.

Hope this helps.

After reassembly, tune to pitch, and check the angle of the bridge. If it is still pulling back towards the body, you need to loosen the springs and retune. Continue until parallel to the body. I also apply a small amount of silicone lube to the contact points to facillitate nonbinding movement.
Your milage may vary.
