This is a picture of my new SE Custom 24 with a set of raw nickel/silver pickup covers that I soldered on in about 15 minutes. It was easy to do and I like the way it looks. I liked the stock pickups and wanted to put on some metal covers.
I dig this new guitar and get a lot of enjoyment from playing it.
I also put a set of the raw metal covers on my SE Singlecut Tremolo vintage sunburst and it also looks and sounds great. I adjusted the pickup coil screw on it for a more mellow sound, as well as the pickup height.
