New S2 model?!

Browsing through the PRS guitars on the on the guitar center website I found an S2 custom 24 with 57/08 pickups in sapphire smokeburst. Maybe part of a 2015 lineup of new S2 guitars?

It is a special run for GC. All other S2s have the usual pickups for the line.

This was discussed recently in another thread, darned if I remember which one...

I saw one of those at the Phoenix store and played it back to back with a S2CU24 with regular pickups. Granted, it wasn't through my rig at band practice, which is where I hear the most subtleties, but they sounded similar enough that I would not have been able to tell you which was which if blindfolded.
