Is it me?

I just got my tuner yesterday and it seems that I can’t get a reading for intonation. All it does is show way too sharp for that string.

What am I doing wrong?

Interesting situation. I'm not sure now, and can't do any emperical research until i get my tuner on Tuesday. I thought for sure it was the frequency. I'll keep working on this though, unless any of our other experts have a solution.

Another factor is if there is one bad unit in the batch I will be the guy who gets it.

Everyone says they are “that guy” but I am for sure.

:-/

I haven’t used a clip on tuner for checking the intonation of a guitar, but I wouldn’t try. You want something precise and steady. That may be a bit much to ask of a clip on. They are not usually that high caliber of an instrument.

Sometimes I’m that guy, too.
It’s like you have your own personal black cloud that hovers over your head.:p:D

Funny, but all my other clip on tuners are able to do intonation pretty well.

I have double checked them with my Polytune pedal.

I'm also going to ask a silly question too! Are you in the right mode, make sure you are in guitar mode !?

That’s cool. I didn’t realize clip on tuners were that good. Good old advances in technology.

Heard back from PRS. They say it should do just fine with intonation.
Maybe it’s just my luck again.

Mine won't do intonation either so I'm curious what the fix or setting is to correct this. At least it's not just you :)
