New PRS Custom 24 Core - Looking for Color Info

Hey all,
I bought a 2018 Custom 24 today and got a really good deal, IMO. They call it root beer, but they said it's their own nomenclature inside the store. Here's the link to the guitar. Could someone please tell me what the official color is? I'm hard pressed to find a page with just the 2018 colors that were available.

There should be a MODCAT code on a sticker on the case. It’s also in the neck pickup cavity. You can enter that into one of the decoders on this site and it should tell you.

On older guitars that was called "black cherry." Like vchizzle I can't remember the new name. Looks a little like "Angry Larry", but I don't think it is. It's not "root beer" though.

Black Cherry was redder. This seems more orange - Burnt Orange, maybe? I didn't buy anything in orange, so I'm not as up on those.

I do have a Black Cherry guitar, though... (Alnus was getting his fingers ready until 'guitar' popped up!).

I guess I could have been more clear. The older color I associate most closely with what I see in the photo would be black cherry. The newer ones will not look exactly like black cherry, and the same color can look different on different guitars because of the differences in the wood. I still see a lot of red and only slightly orange in the photos. Maybe it's the brightness of our screens that differs.

I still with I could remember the new color's name.

Yeah I just hope this doesn't look too brown or orange in person. One other thing I noticed is it doesn't have the cool cream color binding around the body like my CE-24. Oh well, I guess it depends on the color you get too.

It has some variation in how dark and how "orange" it can look, and for any given image it also depends on the camera equipment and white balance settings, etc.

I had entertained that possible finish also. PRS does have a few groupings of finishes that can all look very similar. (I'm looking at you, Amber / Vintage Yellow / Santana Yellow / Honey.)
