New member with a new guitar CE24

Friday had a special package delivered. 2017 satin cherry burst CE24. took advantage of sweetwater s 36 month financing. Was also looking at the elite strat so went to GC and tried both out and well wasn't even a close contest.

This is my second PRS but first was a while back and long gone. It was a CE24 I think that I had put a ghost piezo into along with wood pickup rings and BG pickups so if anyone has it would love to see it again.

First the new and last the old one i dont own anymore.

Its funny I picked the satin becuase i liked the black headstock. Didnt realize the old one had it too.

Congrats. Both guitars are sweet. I've put some rosewood blingy stuff on my ce24 and a couple other prs guitars I own. I love the rosewood look.

colored charcoal bursts in satin always do it for me.

Gotta love the CE! How does the new one compare to the memories that you have of the old one?

Just curious as no one local carries Core models so I cant do an A/B.....

I really like the slim body of the new one. Seems like forearm discomfort was one of the reasons for getting rid of it that and carvin coming out with thier carved top with floyd rose.

I love both your new CE24, such a great colour for the PRS body shape and your oldy. Im fighting the urge to buy an new Elite army green Strat, even though my house is bulging at the seems with Strats and Fenders in general.......and unlike most Im a fan of BIG CBS HEADSTOCKS, which may be the deal breaker, The git in my sig is one of my rare excetions, my 63 pre CBS beauty......makes me weak at the knees every time I open the case.

Enough about me and my issues. Welcome back to the PRS fold....and enjoy your new CE24....and that's the great thing about PRSZ, you don't even have to play em. I just put em on a guitar stand (Hercules) next to my bed and the drooling starts.......Once the Missus is asleep of course.

Snuck that in there hoping to find some PRS loving gun slingers.....but fully exepecting it to be deleted. Another member mentioned his rifle collection in Ladkor's thread....MY FARVORITE PRS. I think it's time to start a thread about the subject in the General Dscussion area ?
