Hello everyone. I am from Florida and happy owner of 2 prs guitars presently and hoping to add more to the colllection. I have a 1986 in pearl white, and a 09 Korina Mira that has a headstock repair. Would like to add a McCarty to the collection soon.
Hi.
I am restoring a 08 Mira which the original owner stripped. The put in Seymour Duncan pickups, replaced the wiring with ragged, very cheap hookup wire, cheap pots, cheap switch, and they even replaced the lampshade knobs with 10 cent amp knobs which didn’t fit. I don’t know why they did it. I didn’t pay much for it, but it’s a very good guitar. The Core Mira might be the most underrated electric guitar. They are fabulous.

Hi folks.
Decided to join here as I got help researching a new purchase from Google links to here.
I had my first PRS mid 90s. I can't even remember which model it was. 22 frets, wrapover tailpiece, rotary pu selector, 10 top and birds in Antique violin.
Loved it but it went during my midlife crisis years.
Currently have a SE DGT that may just be my favourite guitar ever. The newest arrived yesterday after researching a lot.
It's a 2012 SE Bernie Marsden. Immaculate a sounds/feels great. Pickups have been changed but the originals are in the case so I'll have to try them out at the first string change. No doubt I'll have questions so apologies in advance.

Welcome to the forum, John.

Welcome Eddiebaby!
Your former guitar sounds like it was a Custom 22.
Post some pics of your current guitars when you can and don’t forget to stick something into your avatar! You can do that at anytime.;):)

Hi new player and bought my first PRS on 11/9 my 67th birthday, a SE McCarty 594. Traded my Sterling Cutlass HSS, which was a great beginner guitar, easy to play but the PUPS were lousy. I tried the new Gibson LP studio at GC but preferred the PRS, more meat and clarity. Glad to join the "club".

Welcome, and congrats on your first PRS!

I've read these forums for a long time but finally made myself an account to interact. Right now in my music room I have a:

- 1991 EG3 with the triple Lindy Fralin dominoes
- 2002 CE24
- 2019 Silver Sky

Hello everyone, new member here, from Belgium.
I have to confess: I've been a PRS nay-sayer for years (and the fact I'm a long-time Gibson user was probably the main reason! ).
Untill I tried one because some of my favorite artists were playing PRS (classic "if it's good enough for them, there may be a reason").
Instantly fell in love.
It was eight years ago and now I can only complain about how stupid I was before.
With a CU24 ten top, a Santana, a Silver Sky and a pair of SE (semi-hollow 22 and Paul's), I was thinking I was safe but then ... (to be continued 😁)
