Hello all. I am new to this forum. I have joined because over the weekend, I purchased a gently used custom 22. So far, I am really having a blast playing this instrument.
There is one issue that I want to ask about. Is there a treble bleed on this model? It seems that when I roll back the volume, I lose the "sparkle". This is by far, the nicest guitar that I own, so I am not inclined to have it modded. What options are available to me? Does PRS offer anything for this?
Sorry if these questions are redundant. I am not sure of the best way to search the forum.

Thanks.

There should be a treble bleed.

Since it's a used guitar you never what sort of molestations have been performed. It's possible that someone de-soldered or clipped out the 180pf cap that is supposed to live between the lugs of your volume pot. The only way to know for sure is to open up the control cavity and check it out.

Otherwise, does the volume pot work okay?

No it is absolutely stock. The former owner hardly played it. The volume pot works fine, but it loses something when it is rolled back.
