Hello! New member and first post (longtime lurker). Last week I had a chance to play a new '17 full gloss CE 24. Despite being a Gibson guy, I fell hard for the CE. I did an A/B against multiple other guitars that day, and the CE was a clear winner. Something about the 85/15 pups that's hard to define in words. My Les Pauls just sound like... well, Les Pauls. The CE just covered sooo much more sonic ground. Two days later (today) I pulled the trigger on a 7 lb 3 oz CE 24 Satin Sweetwater Exclusive in Black. Seems like destiny, as the serial number is my birthday. Nonetheless, I haven't played any other PRS that I've liked as much as the new CE. She'll be here on Wednesday... let the countdown begin!
