New Member and New PRS Owner

Hey you guys... well just last friday i got a PRS (finally !!!)

I got a S2 Custom 24 in gray black... awesome finish and awesome tone, there were a couple of factors that made me choose the Custom 24, first of all it has the peculiar and distinguished PRS shape which we all love and the neck shape... i was going for a SE245 but the neck is too fat for my taste... but also i could get a S2 SC but then again i'm not a SC man... sold a LP shape a while ago...

anyways reading about the S2 series the are a few differences versus the Core guitars, which in my opinion they are not that far away... but then again they are different.

the only question that i have and i havent found anything online, is that, Can the tremolo unit on the S2 be change for a Core Tremolo unit? yesterday was the debut of my S2 and it didnt let me down, the locking tuners are working OK, but i feel the tremolo not that stable... i did not got out of tune, well maybe just a little, but only the 3rd string... maybe it needs a little lube and its ready...

And yeah - lube that nut. That may very well take care of the problem. If it's really tight, you may need to widen the slot a bit, but from your description, it doesn't sound like it.
