Hi, My names Jamie and I'm totally new to this forum,
I got my first PRS about 2 months ago from world guitars, shes one of the experience 13 Custom 24's in blue fade with a maple neck (pattern thin), ebony board and 57/08's, plays wonderfully and sounds great albeit a bit bright.
I wounder if any one on here has one too in either blue or red/orange or even a custom 24 with similar wood choice ? What do you guys/girls think to this wood combo ?
Thanks much appreciated.

Congrats and welcome! Great choice for your first PRS as well!

I've got an Experience 2012 Custom 24 in sort of a brownish/red custom color (B*tchin' Bev) that has been my #1 for a while now. It's got the same build as yours, so I'd like to steal Les' advice to use the tone and volume knobs to find the sounds you're looking for. PRSi are extremely responsive and can cover a lot of ground with those minor adjustments.

Glad to have you on the boards!

Yeah, awesome guitar! Congrats and welcome.

Roll the tone off a little and use the volume (and your amp) to manage the thickness.

You've got a great plank there.

Thanks guys, cheers for the advice BobbyD, haha thats a great name for a guitar, Mine hasn't got a name yet.
yYeah the tone and vol pots and really fast and sensitive. Ive been using it for funk and blues and the moment and it cuts through really well :)

That's a stunner, great to see it this side of the water too! Welcome, this is a great place.

Awesome score. I normally don't much like the fade finishes, but lately I have seen a few that are really tugging at me. This is one of those. Congrats on the axe.

Thanks Man I've seen a few popping up on different stores with some really nice tops. Just hard to get a photo of it as the camera makes it look a slightly different colour.

I am warming up to blue guitars...that fade is lovely...I live bright-sounding guitars so I bet she'd be right up my alley. Good choice, congrats!
