New McCarty 594 Core compared to 2007 McCarty

I only have an old Mccarty. But IMO the 594 was made to appeal to Les Paul players. As such the 4 control layout and the 2 piece bridge. I didn't come from a Les Paul background so those were not big deals for me. If you're a Les Paul guy the 594 will feel like home. If not, which you like better will be just personal choice. I don't plan on selling my McCarty...

After playing a
friend's modern eagle v this morning I have re-focused. I am going to keep my '07 McCarty and look for a modern eagle v with a rosewood neck. I don't see any on Sweetwater. Is the rosewood neck only available as a wood library model? Is that neck an option? Thanks.

That would be Wood Library or Private Stock only.

I haven’t seen a rosewood neck MEV, but The Guitar Sanctuary had some nice maple neck ones.
