New Job - Start Monday

For two years I have been trying to get hired by a particular shop here in the STL area. I've had a few interviews with them that seemingly got me no where and others that got me offers, but we couldn't quite get on the page. Wednesday I received a call from them requesting I come in Thursday for an interview. After my interview they made an offer. I accepted and start Monday.

I couldn't be more excited for the opportunity. Here's to my new career. And a new guitar to celebrate...or two?!

Congrats Jesse! I totally know the feeling, after wanting a job with a certain organization for 4 years it finally happened earlier this year for me. I've spent the last 6 months training and I'm finally about to start the real job in a couple of weeks time.

It really is my dream job, nope scratch that, vocation, and I'm going to be "semi-retired" in a years time as I'll be 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off. Let's hope one of those 4 weeks off falls on a XPRS and I get to join in on all the fun and meet all you dudes
