Greetings- This is my first PRS. I've been a die hard Hamer USA fan since the late 70's and I have several of those.

This kind of "fell in my lap" and I couldn't pass it up. Ten Top in Yellow Tiger. Built September 20202.

sorry...for the life of me, I can't figure out how to upload an image.

Wow future person. Why did you come back to 2020?

but the real question is how do you like the PRS so far? The color sounds beautiful.
Ah...you had me confused until I saw the extra 2 in the year. :-0. You have no idea how valuable this vintage PRS is in 20202. ;-)

I'm LOVING the guitar. I'm used to 25.5" scale lengths so the 25" is new to me. I like it tremendously. It is much easier going from my Hamer to the PRS than it is to a 24.74". I'm used to thinner fret profiles too but I'm starting to really like the frets on the PRS. Lastly, right out of the gate I like the slightly wider nut on the PRS vs my main Hamer.

Congrats--the McCarty model is, in my opinion, one of the most classic/best examples of PRS guitar superiority. (Relatively) simple yet amazing. I have, well... more than one of them myself, let's just say.

Awesome Hasbeen! Glad you like it. If you’re like a lot of the rest of us, once you fall in love with a PRS you’ll end up with more than one. Make sure you buy an extra to sell that vintage guitar in 20202. (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself when I saw the date!)
